Results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations, held in February of 2013, will be published on Thursday (May 9).
The Chairman of the Inter-Board Coordination Sub-Committee and Dhaka Education Board Prof Taslima Begum, said to press, “The results (of SSC and its equivalent exams) will be published on Thursday as per the decision of the Ministry of Education.”
She said Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will formally hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10:00am on the day.
But the education minister will disclose the results at a press briefing at about 1:00pm, Prof Taslima added.
Subodh Chandra Dhali, Education Ministry PRO, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would address the candidates through video-conference at Dinajpur Zilla School, Girls School, and Nurjahan Alia Madrasa at around 10 am on Thursday.
The SSC and its equivalent examinations began on Feb 3. The month-long written tests ended on Mar 5.
This year, ‘creative questions’ replaced the traditional system in various subjects except Bangla second paper, English first and second papers and mathematics.
